What we store
- Your account. Email, name, and profile picture from Google when you sign in. If you set a password later, we store a hash of it, never the password itself.
- What you do on the board. Which codes you viewed, revealed, copied, and clicked through to Amazon, with a timestamp. This is how daily limits work and how sellers see whether a code is landing.
- A hash of your IP address. Guests get a few free reveals per day, and that count has to attach to something. We store a salted hash, not the address.
- Your Associates tags and caption templates, if you save them. They are yours. Admin can see that they exist and never edits them.
- Seller data, if you post codes: store name, storefront link, and the codes themselves.
What we never store
- Card numbers, or any payment detail. Checkout happens on Dodo Payments, who take the payment as merchant of record. What comes back to us is an order id, an amount, and whether it cleared.
- Your Amazon Associates login, or anything from inside your Associates account.
- Your sales or commissions. We cannot see them. Links carry your tag, not ours.
Who else sees it
Google, for sign-in. Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site. TrueVisit, which counts page views. Dodo Payments, if you buy a featured slot or VIP, who need your email and billing details to take the payment and issue the invoice. Display advertising, once it runs, uses cookies to pick ads. That is the whole list. We do not sell data and we do not run affiliate network scripts that rewrite your links.
The TrueVisit part is worth spelling out, because analytics is usually where a promise like ours quietly stops being true. It runs on the server, not in your browser: no script, no cookie, no pixel, and no identifier that follows you from one site to the next. What it receives is what a web server log already holds, the page you asked for, where you came from, your browser string and your IP address. It never touches the links you copy.
How long we keep it
Account data lives until you ask us to delete it. Event logs stay, but a deleted account is stripped out of them first: the rows survive with no user attached, so the board's stats stay honest and your name is gone.
Your choices
- Delete your account by writing to us. We confirm by reply, then delete.
- Remove a saved tag or template any time in Settings.
- Sign out of every session from Settings.
Children
Offerbook is not for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
