Taking codes

Is Offerbook free?
Yes, for everyone. Taking codes is free, posting them is free, and there is no plan you have to be on to see the board.
Do you take a cut of my commission?
No. Offerbook never inserts its own affiliate tag and never earns from a code you share. Your Associates tag stays yours, and the link you copy carries it and nothing else.
Do I need an Amazon Associates account?
Not to take codes. Save your Associates tag and every code comes back with your own tagged link and a finished caption instead of a bare code, but the codes work either way.
How many codes can I take a day?
Guests get a few, a free account gets more, and a confirmed channel gets more again. The exact numbers are set in the admin panel and shown on your profile, so what you see there is what you have.
Why does the site link to Amazon without my tag on it?
Deliberately. Amazon closes Associates accounts for earning on your own purchases, so a link you might click yourself never carries your tag. The tagged version is built for you to copy and post, and it is never a clickable link here.
What does the works percentage mean?
The share of people who took that code and said it applied at checkout. It only appears once enough people have answered, because a percentage from two votes says nothing.

Posting codes

What does it cost a seller to post?
Nothing, and there is no minimum discount. A 10 percent code on a $300 product saves a buyer more than 50 percent off an $8 one, and both belong on the board.
Why do I have to confirm my store?
So the codes on the board come from the people who own the products. We check the Buy Box merchant on a product you sell. If it does not match inside 48 hours that is never a rejection, it goes to a person to look at, because a reseller can hold the Buy Box.
What happens when my code stops working?
It comes off the board once enough people report it dead. That is the point of the works percentage, and it is why the codes still here tend to still work.
What can you tell me about how my codes performed?
Views, reveals, copies, and clicks through to Amazon. We track up to the click. Sales and commissions live in your Associates account and we cannot see those, so we do not claim to.

Paying for a featured slot

What does featured actually buy?
Visibility, and nothing else. A featured slot sits above the board with a Featured label on it. It never changes a works percentage, never moves an organic row, and never skips store verification.
I am on VIP. Do I still pay for a featured slot?
Not while your included days cover it. VIP comes with featured days each month, and a window that fits inside what you have left costs nothing and goes live straight away, with no checkout. Whole windows only: a week spends 7 days, so with 3 left a week is charged at the VIP rate instead of being part-billed. The count resets when your plan renews.
Can I get a refund on a featured slot?
Yes. If your code stops working or you take it down while the window is still running, you choose: move the unused days to another live code from your dashboard, or write to us and we return the days that were not used. An unused window is money we owe you, not a windfall.
How do I actually pay for one?
Card, on the seller page. Pick a code and a length, and checkout opens on Dodo Payments, who take the payment as merchant of record and send the receipt. Your slot goes live when the payment clears, usually inside a minute. There are three slots, so if they are full the checkout says so and charges nothing.
Can I get a refund on VIP?
VIP renews every month until you stop it, and you stop it yourself from your profile page. It then runs to the end of the period you already paid for and ends, with nothing charged after that. If something was paid by mistake or something is genuinely wrong, write to us and we return it rather than argue about it.

Who runs this

How does Offerbook make money?
Ads on the page, sellers paying to feature a code, and an optional VIP plan for sellers. All of it is labeled where it appears. None of it comes from the codes you take or the links you post.
Are you connected to Amazon?
No. Offerbook is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. It is an independent board run by one person.
Who is behind it?
Thuy, an affiliate marketer and trainer who spent years hunting for working promo codes for his own campaigns and for his students, and built the tool he wanted.
